DESIGN STATEMENT

This is a short film describing stream of consciousness.

The story starts from reading. Then I had a series of deuterogenic associations about book contents during the process of page turning, and then I escaped from the world in the book with my consciousness personified into various animals’ characters, eager to escape from the human beings’ so-called civilized world.

Human beings have turned the world upside down during the process of evolution, and each individual feels at a loss due to the fight for fame and wealth, progress of science and technology, and threat of military industry. At last, with my thoughts back to the reality, I opened the door back home, a land far away from worldly crowd. (2017)
